Todays Front page of the telegraph Journal-- Feds make "Atlantic Loop" Power Pitch!! No wonder Canada's largest refinery cannot get crude piped to New Brunswick-- Ottawa wants all of Atlantic Canada to buy Quebec Hydro Power. What a shame. What about our businesses? what about our exports? Lets ask Newfoundland & Labrador-- how dealing with Quebec has worked for them. Why must Ottawa continually make us dependent upon Quebec & upper Canada. We have the business people here---to make us self sufficient--- BUT OTTAWA CONTINUALLY INTERFERS WITH OUR BUSINESSES & wants to to stay reliant on their policies. We will never be able to TO BE---- A HAVE PROVINCE-- if Ottawa continues to hinder our businesses.

New Brunswick was doing fine prior to Confederation. We had exports and a bustling economy - most business people lived in Saint John.. Ottawa bribed us with a coast to coast railway, then took it away, took complete control of our ports, our trade & lured our successful business men to upper Canada. New Brunswick has been deeply hindered by Ottawa's continued practice of favoring Quebec businesses including maintaining ice breakers along the Saint Lawrence Seaway so Montreal can have a year round port. Ottawa's continued practices of favoring Ontario & Quebec- will ensure we stay as the saying goes--- "a have not province." Ottawa's preferences of continually favoring upper Canada hinders New Brunswickers achieving their full potential.
